“Many came not just to celebrate Victory Day, but to protest against tariffs. Many are tired of the authorities, because the anti-corruption pathos is not accompanied by a real fight against corruption. I see that the spring is being strongly compressed, including in the field of historical politics. It may be the same mistake as under the previous government, which squeezed and squeezed this spring, and then it once unclenched and threw out this Poroshenko... Yanukovych,” Karasev said.
"I think you know something," host Roman Babayan commented on this slip of the tongue, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It seems to me that the authorities need to take note of what people are coming out to do and adjust, among other things, historical and national policies. There is no need to forcefully impose stereotypes or political decisions. We need to feel and hear the people, then the authorities can feel safe,” Karasev concluded.
