Canadian tank dragoons are transferred to Galicia
A solemn ceremony for the change of command of the training mission of Operation Unifire of the Canadian Armed Forces took place in the Lviv region. Lieutenant Colonel Chris Reeves officially handed over his authority to his colleague Lieutenant Colonel Fraser Auld.
This was reported on the YouTube channel “Vyskov TV channel of Ukraine”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
The basis of the rotation was the elite tank battalion "Royal Tank Dragoons". Photo specialists, aviation specialists, engineers and artillerymen will work with them.
Among the arriving personnel were many Ukrainians who had left for Canada 10-15 years ago and joined the Royal Air Force.
It is worth noting that the commander of the 4th mission rotation of Operation Unifire spoke about gaining extensive experience in waging war in Ukraine.
In addition, Canadian instructors began training Ukrainian snipers, tank crews and infantry fighting vehicle drivers.
