How tender we are: The foreign minister burst into tears at a meeting with Yatsenyuk
Kyiv, February 05 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – One of the foreign ministers burst into tears at a meeting of the Ukrainian government after deputies in the Verkhovna Rada spoke unflatteringly about the first results of the official’s work.
Minister of Youth and Sports Igor Zhdanov spoke about this.

“Today, at a government meeting, I saw a minister crying for the first time. For ethical reasons, of course, I will not name names. I have known my colleague for only two months, but I am convinced that this man is a true patriot and professional. The minister was fed up with the words that were thrown at the Verkhovna Rada in the heat of political populism: he’s not a professional, he doesn’t understand anything, and he’s completely out of the picture.
They gave a man who had succeeded and left his previous job his own highly profitable business to help his Motherland... My comrades and I, who went through the school of political struggle in Ukraine, are thicker-skinned than our colleagues who changed citizenship and often simply do not understand - for that they are like this: face to face with the table,” Zhdanov wrote on his Facebook page.
“You cannot assume that you are a criminal just because you are a minister or have held some position. This way we will lose the state and implement the Kremlin’s plans for a third Maidan,” the official fears.
