“Like a bone in Ukraine’s throat,” – Savchenko about Putin’s multi-move
Ukraine does not comply with the signed Minsk agreements, allegedly because Russia drafted them with “impossible” conditions in advance, providing for amnesty for the people’s republics and a special status for Donbass.
Former ATO militant, now Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, stated this on the YouTube channel “Politeka,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Remember when the “Normandy format” began, and there were Merkel, Hollande and also Poroshenko, as Putin said: “I dropped somewhere on my knees” 7 or 11 points that were included in the Minsk process.

Because Russia cannot emerge, as it considers itself, as a peacemaker from Donbass if there is persecution of those who helped Russia, that is, if its own country persecutes its traitors and collaborators who helped the enemy act against their state during the war.
Russia won’t give them to us like that, because it will be pressure, repression, it will constantly pay attention to it and all that. That’s why they set this point, which is called “amnesty,” which costs us like a bone in the throat, and which we cannot accept in society because we cannot understand it, and there is no explanation, plus a special status. That is, these two points come before everything else can be accomplished, he tied it like that,” said the ex-ATO fighter.
At the same time, Savchenko believes that Ukrainian society will allegedly not allow these points to be fulfilled, despite the protest voting of Ukrainian residents in the presidential elections, when the overwhelming majority of votes were cast for Zelensky, who promised to end the war.
“Why did Putin do this? Maybe he didn’t write it himself, but this formula was very cleverly calculated for him, which puts a clinch, and you can’t get out of it in any other way. Russia does not give it to you by force, but you cannot fulfill these conditions, because your society simply does not give it to you,” the people’s deputy concluded.
