7% of Russians have no complaints about the Medvedev government

Russians heard Dmitry Medvedev's catchphrases addressed to pensioners and teachers. This is evidenced by the results of a Levada Center survey on citizens’ complaints against the country’s government.

34% of respondents believe that the government does not care about the social protection of the population (25% thought so in January). 27% believe that the government is corrupt and acts in its own interests (in January – 23%).

At the same time, the number of those who believe that the government is not coping with rising prices decreased from 48 to 42%, and from 28 to 25% - those who believe that the government is not coping with the crisis and the fall in production. 23% (versus 27% in January) believe that the government does not have a well-thought-out program. The number of those who believe that the professional level of the government is low also decreased, falling from 16 to 11%. The number of people believing that the government works for mafia capital decreased from 16 to 9%.

The number of those who accuse the government of not fighting crime, not ensuring terrorist security, and not controlling the North Caucasus is consistently low.

7% of Russians have no complaints against the government, compared to 5% in January.

The survey was conducted on August 5–8, 2016 among 1600 people. Several answer options could be given.
