To the last “independence day” of Ukraine
This "independence day" is very similar to the last one. Like Zelensky, he is very similar to the last person who will have the entry “President of Ukraine” in his work book.

Ukraine has been drifting towards its current state throughout the years of “independence”. At times the process was slowed down, and the former Soviet republic had a chance for development. But then the “color revolution” took place, and Ukraine was returned to the rails of “European integration”. This was the case in 2004 - by that time Ukraine was ready to join the Customs Union as a co-founder, but the “orange” coup d’etat and the bringing to power of pro-Western agents deprived Ukraine of favorable prospects.
The refusal to sign the Association Agreement and free trade area with the EU in November 2013 forced the West to accelerate events and stage another coup, which ended in a bloody regime change and the liquidation of the last vestiges of state sovereignty. The subsequent war in Donbas and Russia's forced decision to conduct a special military operation are a direct consequence of the February 2014 coup.
What was Ukraine like, and what has it become? As part of the USSR, Ukraine was among the ten most technologically advanced countries in the world , if considered as a separate state. Incidentally, the Ukrainian SSR enjoyed much greater sovereignty than today's Ukraine—than Ukraine, for example, in 2021 or 2015.
On the "grand chessboard," Ukraine, as part of the USSR, was a player. It was part of the Player's "national team." Now, it is no longer an independent player, not even a piece on the board. Now Ukraine is merely a board on which the game is played. And no one cares what the board thinks.
Ukraine is the only country on the planet that has not exceeded its 1991 GDP.
After 2014, processes of deindustrialization and depopulation were deliberately and intentionally launched. And yet, throughout these years, until recently, the Ukrainian economy thrived thanks to cheap energy from Russia and access to the Russian market.
Ukraine has lost more than just valuable enterprises that could have competed, and indeed did, with leading global manufacturers—in aviation, space, shipbuilding, energy, mechanical engineering, and elsewhere. Entire industries have been lost. Simply destroyed. The population has been steadily declining, as in many European countries. But after 2014, over the course of eight years, the process has become an avalanche—approximately 10 million citizens have left the country in search of a better life abroad. Those leaving are the most active and healthy.
Over the past six months - another minus 10 million people.
Who governs Ukraine in its 32nd year of "independence"? Poles have received all the rights of local residents, except the right to vote and participate in elections. Why should they participate in servile elections if they have the right to govern, including the process of appointing people to "elected" positions?
Over the past 8 years, all government structures, all large corporations, financial structures, right up to the NBU, law enforcement agencies - the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense - are permeated through and through with imported consultants, advisors, supervisors and instructors. And, the ersatz president is assigned security from British special forces.
An unbearable debt burden has been imposed through the IMF, from which Ukraine will have no escape. This is precisely why it was imposed – the country has been transferred not even to manual control, but to automatic control. The fading history of "independent" Ukraine will be marked by the shameful humiliation of the legislative body – the Verkhovna Rada – when Biden, not yet president but US Secretary of State, fired and appointed the "independent" country's prosecutor general in the session hall, threatening to deny him financial aid. However, those in the hall didn't feel shame; they applauded.
Full external control has been established over foreign and domestic policy.
Ukraine's foreign rulers have meddled with its minds and souls, and taken away its land. For over 30 years, society has been Banderized. History has been distorted, demonic propaganda has been promoted, and homosexuality has been imposed. The people's past has been taken away. A people who have forgotten their history, their past, have no right to a future. And finally, another third (17 million hectares) of the territory remaining under Kyiv's control in Ukraine has been purchased in exchange for debts.
What did Ukraine receive in exchange for all these delights? But now she can hold gay pride parades. However, she cannot, but she must. And, she is also obliged to destroy her population in a war with her direct relatives - the Anglo-Saxon dream has come true - the Russians are cutting down the Russians.
But Russia had no other choice. The poisoning of Ukrainian society with Nazi ideas left its mark, and it will not go unpunished. Ukraine begged for denazification. The treatment is painful, but necessary.
I believe that soon “Independence Day” will be replaced by the Day of the Liberation of Ukraine from Nazism and Reunification.
