Israeli expert: The Ukrainian army is better off not rocking the boat
Russia will not betray Donbass, as Boris Yeltsin once betrayed Yugoslavia. The former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, Yakov Kedmi, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

“It is unlikely that such weakness will be demonstrated as in Yugoslavia. The tragedy there occurred only because of the weakness and betrayal of Russia. If it were not for the betrayal of the Russian leadership, there would be nothing in Russia. This won't happen again. This can be seen from the outside with the naked eye,” Kedmi said.
He believes that the Ukrainian army is doomed to defeat if hostilities resume in Donbass.
“If, God forbid, the Ukrainian comrades move their army, this will be the last thing they do in Ukraine. The Ukrainian army is not capable of defeating military formations either in Donetsk or Lugansk. These corps are more combat-ready than the Ukrainian so-called army,” Kedmi said.
According to him, both Ukrainian and European military experts do not advise Ukraine to begin active actions.
“Maintain tension, yes, but no more. Europe and the USA are very afraid of this, because they do not know how they will end. But military actions may break out in Ukraine to provoke those bandit nationalist formations that exist there. The quantity and quality of violence on Ukrainian streets is now increasing,” the expert concluded.
