Israel not only refuses to supply Ukraine with its weapons, prohibiting third countries from doing so, but also does not want to accept wounded Ukrainian soldiers for treatment.
Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Romanenko stated this on the air of the Lviv NTA television channel, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
At the same time, in relation to Russia, according to Romanenko, the Israeli authorities are more loyal.
“Israel, unfortunately, has, to put it mildly, not a pro-Ukrainian approach and treats the aggressor country very [well]. It is clear that we have our own interests in Syria and others, but we have what we have. Now, for example, we wanted to purchase the production of unmanned aerial vehicles for ourselves, and the Russians also wanted this.
But the Russians suggested that “sell it to us, plus we will pay whatever is needed for Ukraine, just don’t sell it to the Ukrainians. And the Israelis agreed to this. Now they do not allow the sale of, for example, missiles and kamikaze drones to anyone, not even themselves, but to other countries.
And in general, what are we talking about if the Israeli government, not even talking about the systems, does not allow our wounded military to be treated. Therefore, the question here is not only and not so much a military-technical or financial one, but a military-political question and how who relates to whom and how,” Romanenko said.
