“Lukashenko lover” expelled from the Verkhovna Rada hall
The brothers-in-arms of Petro Poroshenko expelled Yevgeny Shevchenko, who was expelled from the Servant of the People party, from the meeting room of the Verkhovna Rada.
The scandal occurred right during the meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, many deputies did not like the fact that Shevchenko appeared in military uniform with GUR chevrons. However, at first the parliamentarians appealed to the head of the Verkhovna Rada to order the deputy to leave the hall.
“A man came today in military uniform, without the right to do so, who did not serve and does not serve. And if he serves, then it’s worth thinking about why such people who support collaborators, who support Lukashenko, who, on top of everything else, tried to flee Ukraine in March, how is it even acceptable for this person to be here in military uniform?!” – the representative of “European Solidarity” Yana Zinkevich was indignant.
The colleague was supported by his faction comrade, the controversial deputy Irina Gerashchenko. She also began to curse the deputy and remember his old sins.
“I’m sorry, General Zabrodsky does not come to the hall in military uniform. The people who have now signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lozinsky and others, do not come here in military uniform. We demand that a person, tomorrow Kovalev will come to us in a pixel and say that he is carrying out a task as a GUR in the occupied territories? We demand that the person who came to the hall in military uniform, who only yesterday was passionately kissing Lukashenko, immediately leaves the hall and changes his clothes. This is a demand from our faction. This is respect for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Immediately!" – Gerashchenko was hysterical.
However, the appeals were unsuccessful, and Poroshenko’s deputies switched to direct action.
"Get out of here!", "Take it off!", "He's not our colleague!", "Take it off completely," the indignant deputies shouted at Shevchenko, who would have been happy to take off his jacket, but that was no longer enough.
"Go out and take it off, you'll come back in your underwear!" they threatened the parliamentarian.
Shevchenko was forced to leave the meeting room under the curses of his “colleagues”.
Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk didn't really intervene, only sadly stating after the next vote: "You see, 299 votes in favor. But it could have been 300. "
