Donetsk, June 10 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Donetsk region, the work of the Seversky Donets - Donbass channel is temporarily suspended due to artillery shelling.

As a result of artillery shelling on the territory of the pumping station of the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal, two employees of the Water of Donbass enterprise were mortally wounded and damage was caused to the building of the pumping station, the utility company reports.
“As a result, at 10:30 the operation of the pumping units of the first lift pumping station was stopped, and at 12.00:XNUMX – at the second lift station. Maintenance personnel were unable to work during the shelling. Resumption of work will be possible after a ceasefire, inspection of equipment, delivery of workers and provision of communications,” the utility said.
During the shutdown of the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal, water supply to cities and towns will be provided from reserve reservoirs. In the event of a prolonged shutdown of the canal, it is possible to transfer cities to a reduced water supply schedule.
As Navigator reported, on June 7, unknown people seized the hydraulic structures of the Karlovsky Reservoir.
