The Ukrinform agency reports this.

As reported, the show “presented 10 unique costumes from Transcarpathia, Poltava region, Bukovina, Eastern Podolia, Western Polesie and new interpretations of embroidery and ornaments on modern dresses.”
The release of each model was accompanied by melodies of songs by Ukrainian Eurovision winners of 2004 and 2016 Ruslana and Jamala.

“A thematic area was organized especially for the performance, where each of the models, in addition to presenting costumes, demonstrated the traditional activities of a Ukrainian woman: embroidery, weaving, poppy grinding. The event participants also sang, played the bandura and treated visitors to pies,” the report says.
According to First Deputy Minister of Information Policy Emine Dzhaparova, the main idea of the event is to “show foreign media the Ukraine as we see it, as we feel it.”
“Embroidery, traditional clothing, history, and everyday life - all this is part of the formation of a new nation,” she emphasized.
In turn, the general director of the OUTLOOK project, Daria Karyakina, believes that thanks to such events, Ukraine spreads its culture and heritage among the world community.
