Games of the oligarchs: Kolomoisky cleared out the auction committee for the sale of oil
Kyiv, February 15 (PolitNavigator, Oleksandr Semenyuta) – Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn dismissed Naftogaz Executive Director Andriy Pasishnyk from the oil auction committee. In a blog post, Petro Poroshenko Bloc MP Serhiy Leshchenko blamed this on the machinations of oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky.

According to him, Pasishnik’s exclusion occurs under pressure from oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who, by controlling the management of Ukrnafta, is trying to prevent the destruction of his corrupt schemes for selling oil at auctions.
“Pasishnik, who in recent months has been leading the direction to return Ukrnafta to state control, after persistent requests and blackmail from Kolomoisky, is expelled from the auction committee for the sale of oil,” writes the deputy journalist.
Leshchenko recalled that the auction committee determines the parameters of the auction and the starting price. Its composition is formed by a joint order of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economy.
As you know, on February 10, Ukrnafta, which is 51% owned by the state but controlled by Kolomoisky, filed a lawsuit demanding the exclusion of four representatives of Naftogaz from the auction committee, among whom was Pasishnyk’s name.
