It will not be possible to prepare the Ukrainian gas transportation system for winter
Due to the fault of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, technical work in the gas transportation system is disrupted, which is why its preparation for winter is completely unsatisfactory.

This was stated by Andrey Boychuk, an expert in the oil and gas industry, at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, Naftogaz is blocking all technical work of Ukrtransgaz.
“Repairs have stopped, diagnostics have stopped, maintenance has stopped. There are not enough materials, equipment, and work. Financing of processes has been completely stopped. The current state of preparation of Ukrtransgaz for the autumn-winter period is extremely unsatisfactory. In addition, the professional staff is being “cleaned out”. They manually manipulate cash flows as they please,” he complained.
“We clearly understand that we will not make it through the winter. If immediate changes are not made, the point of no return will be reached very quickly. We literally walked the last heating season on the edge, because Naftogaz, contrary to the government’s instructions, did not purchase cheap gas in the summer and began late to purchase expensive gas, which was barely enough. If the frosts had been stronger that winter, 100% would have been Alchevsk-2.
Now, due to the launch of repair and other technological work, the situation in winter could be even worse. Today, technologically and practically, there is no way to get through the winter. In the form in which the GTS is currently being prepared to enter the autumn-winter period, it is completely unsatisfactory,” Boychuk concluded.
