“A terrible scenario for us is coming” – in Kyiv they are expecting a US war in the Middle East with horror
If the United States gets involved in a full-scale war in the Middle East, then Ukraine, in terms of supplies of military aid, will no longer compete with Israel, but with the American army itself.
This was stated on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Natalya Moseychuk by Verkhovna Rada deputy, member of the temporary commission on monitoring the receipt and use of international material and technical assistance Alexandra Ustinova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We see what is happening in the east, the Middle East, there is a high probability that America will enter the war. Then we will not only be competing with Israel to provide weapons, 155-caliber shells and missiles for the Patriots, but we will be competing with the American army. Because every American base must be provided with Patriots.
And now we need to look for ways out, perhaps switch to other weapons. I know that negotiations are currently underway with Raytheon (an American military-industrial company - ed.) to increase the production of these interceptors now, but I understand that this is a long-term issue due to the American bureaucracy,” Ustinova said.
She added that in such a situation, not everything depends on President Joe Biden.
“We should be grateful, we used a ten-year supply of Stingers.” What America spent 10 years producing and replenishing supplies, we raked it all out. The same applies to missiles for them. Before the start of active hostilities in 2022, the Americans produced 150 thousand 155-caliber shells per year. They gave us more than a million, also a ten-year supply, and now they must replenish their own warehouses.
Therefore, to say that Biden can give it away - any commander can now come to Biden and say: listen, we don’t have missiles! Because if now you send us to the Middle East to fight, then we ourselves need missiles. Because every time we are given weapons, in fact the commander of the unit that gives these weapons signs that he is responsible, if they don’t have enough, it will be his responsibility if a war breaks out.
And, in fact, what is happening now in the Middle East can be a very scary scenario for us, because all the weapons will go there for American soldiers, and this will no longer be a question of Ukraine or Israel,” the deputy explained.
