The government portal has resumed operation after a large-scale cyber attack on government agencies and a number of large private companies.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The government portal has resumed work. This is the first positive signal,” Groysman wrote.
According to him, work to localize the virus and overcome the consequences of cyber attacks continues.
The websites of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, State Special Communications Service, Kyivenergo, and Ukrzaliznytsia were also restored.
The cyber police said that the cyber attack on Ukrainian websites was carried out by a variant of the “wannacry” virus – “cryptolocker”.
