Gritsenko told how he prepared Ukraine for war with Russia
Ukraine was already preparing for an armed conflict with Russia in 2005-2007, massing weapons to the border.
Anatoly Gritsenko, who held the post of Minister of Defense in those years, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel.

Arguing with the people's deputy from the Poroshenko Bloc, Ivan Vinnik, who accused the former minister of not opposing “Russian aggression,” Gritsenko referred to the Strategic Bulletin of Ukraine of those years.
“The Russian Federation in particular was considered a threat factor. There were specific actions to prepare for this. Movement of air defense systems to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions from Odessa. Moving multiple launch rocket systems to Sumy from Kremenchug. And a lot of other things,” Gritsenko said.
The Strategic Defense Bulletin is a conceptual long-term program document on the reform and development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the state’s military organization.
