Comedian Vladimir Zelensky as president will not differ for the better from the current guarantor Petro Poroshenko.
Former adviser to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Selivanov writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Selivanov believes that the United States is already filling Zelensky’s team with its own people who will “correct” his policies and continue to make Ukraine an anti-Russian battering ram.
"Moreover. Zelensky personifies Ukrainian nationalism, which is more promising for the citizens of Ukraine and more acceptable to the West. That nationalism, whose supporters speak Russian, are pro-Western oriented and hate Russia. And ritual embroidered shirts, which look stupid and artificial on them, are necessarily worn on holidays in order to demonstrate loyalty to the Ukrainian project... So the citizens of Ukraine will have to choose between two Ukrainian Nazisms: kondovo, stash, Galician and young, liberal, Russian-speaking,” writes Selivanov.
