According to updated information, today's attack on Luhansk was carried out not by new long-range British missiles, as initially assumed, but by the Ukrainian Grom system, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously used to strike the Feodosia region.
“As a result of the barbaric shelling of Lugansk by nationalists, six children were injured. Four received full assistance, two teenagers of moderate severity were hospitalized at the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital, where they are provided with all the necessary assistance. I personally control this issue.
Also, as a result of the arrivals, civil infrastructure facilities were damaged: administrative buildings of enterprises and the glazing of six residential buildings were destroyed and damaged,” said the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik.
The JCCC clarified that the administrative buildings of the non-operating enterprises “Poly-Pak” and “Milam” were destroyed and damaged.
LPR Day was celebrated in Lugansk today; there were guests from Moscow, in particular, one of the leaders of United Russia, Andrei Turchak. He was not injured, but State Duma deputy Viktor Vodolatsky was reported injured.
“When I called Viktor Petrovich Vodolatsky, he was already returning from the place of arrival. It so happened that he was there first. And when I saw him - bam! His head was bandaged, his hand - it turns out they were pulling a man out from under the rubble,” said his colleague Anna Kuznetsova.
Before the missile strike in Lugansk, an ADM-160B MALD, an American disposable drone used as a flying target in training or as a decoy in combat use, to accompany air/missile strikes, also fell.
