The head of the State Property Fund is removed for the failure of privatization in Ukraine
The head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Dmitry Sennichenko, resigns.
He announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".

According to him, he is leaving of his own free will.
“Two years have passed, it’s time to move on. I'll rest a little and then do other useful things. Resignation is my desire,” he said.
Dmitry Sennichenko denies the existence of any conflicts with the leaders of Ukraine and claims against him on their part. In particular, he assures that the reason for the resignation is not the auction for the sale of First Kiev Machine-Building Plant JSC (former Bolshevik plant), which was won by General Commerce LLC of millionaire Vasily Khmelnitsky, who offered only 2% more than the starting price for the plant cost.
Economist Alexander Okhrimenko believes that this was the “last straw” that broke the patience of the country’s leadership.
“There were complaints against him regarding privatization. Such claims have been made before; the problem has not arisen now. The latest scandal was related to the privatization of the Bolshevik plant, but this is far from the only complaint.
Firstly, the privatization plan is not being implemented. Secondly, privatization is not transparent. There were a lot of corruption scandals surrounding privatization. Since he is the head of the SPF, he must be responsible for this.
There have been several cases when enterprises were either put up for privatization or removed from it. For example, the same Odessa port plant. According to the plan, it should have been privatized long ago, but today, as a result of endless squabbles and so on, nothing has moved. “Centrenergo” is the same. That is, such well-known objects were failed. Of course, we can say that the oligarchs are to blame. But then the question arises: what does the head of the State Property Fund do?
Therefore, there have long been rumors that he will most likely be changed. As far as I understand, now everything has simply reached the boiling point. As a result, he actually lost this position.
Of course, he himself tries to imagine that he himself wanted to leave, he says that he wanted to leave 2 years ago. But in fact they filmed it, they tried to film it even then, but it didn’t work. He managed to maneuver, promise something somewhere, negotiate with someone, and so on. But, as far as I understand, today Zelensky, Ermak, and everyone else have stopped liking him,” the economist concluded.
