The head of the Ukrainian Uniates unexpectedly came to the defense of the EU from... “Gunpowder”
The head of the Uniate “Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church” Svyatoslav Shevchuk called for the healing of Ukraine from “political and state egoism.”
“We see what is happening now in a united Europe, which is on the verge of crisis and collapse due to the fact that someone is investing heavily in national egoism,” the Vatican protege denounced the European nationalists, allegedly supported by “who knows who.”
He reminded Ukrainians, who in recent months have fallen out with virtually all of their European neighbors, of the words of “one spiritual father” of the union, that “he who wants to save his soul is like a powder-dust cleaner (apparently, a vacuum cleaner, translated from “modern” Galician, – author ), who sucks up everything around him, because he is ready to sacrifice even the most sacred (obviously, European aspirations, – author ) for the sake of his own well-being.”
