The acting head of the Simferopol city administration, Gennady Bakharev, told reporters about this on Wednesday.
According to him, the land for this microdistrict is “a wonderful gift from the head of the republic.”
“It will appear where there used to be a military facility. During Ukrainian times, this land was transferred to private ownership, but today this decision has been reversed. The area of the microdistrict is 30 hectares. This is a very large piece, considering that Simferopol is suffocating from a lack of housing,” Bakharev noted.
According to him, social housing and dormitories will be built in the microdistrict.
