Hybrid war “until victory” - the expert explained why Kyiv is not going to implement “Minsk”
Kyiv has not and does not intend to comply with the Minsk agreements, however, in the hope of “finishing off the Russian Federation,” it continues to “pull the tires” for the sake of extending anti-Russian sanctions, which are already indirectly affecting Ukraine itself.
Pavel Rudyakov, head of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, announced this at a press conference, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Now we can say definitively and irrevocably that under President Zelensky, just as it was under Poroshenko, we will not implement the Minsk agreements. And we are not going to do this, and we are not doing anything to somehow move in this direction. There is no strategy, no tactics, no internal political resources that could allow us to do something about this. We will not comply. Now here we can put a bold point.
At the same time, we do not abandon the Minsk format and the negotiation process on these issues for a number of reasons. In principle, it seems to me that this is reasonable, because we will remain extreme, although we are already extreme. This is a matter of our security, this is a matter of our internal integrity, and we are putting it aside.
We should have been primarily interested in the progress of the process of peace, political settlement, and integration of Donbass. This is a threefold process that we must undertake. First of all, this is our national interest,” Rudyakov said.
At the same time, the expert explained this impasse as a consequence of foreign policy pressure on Ukraine.
“Our entire foreign and security policy, on orders from sunny America, is aimed, just don’t laugh, at victory over Russia. Both our strategic people and our foreign policy people believe that we can defeat Russia.
Here you can remember the fall of 2014, when the first sanctions began, at the Academy of Sciences, at the university, in the expert community, it was discussed when Russia would disintegrate - in the spring of 2015 in March or there, closer to May. None of the speakers had any doubts that it would fall apart.
Thank God, it’s already the 20th year, Russia certainly has problems, including those caused by the growing sanctions regimes, but they are not trying to disintegrate,” the analyst noted.
“It turns out that we cannot implement the Minsk agreements, although this is in our national interest. Because we want our confrontation (whatever you want to call it - hybrid war, confrontation with Russia) to continue. Although, if we take economists, what they say is that even from these direct sanctions against Russia, we also suffer some indirect losses, which in general, for our economy, may be an unnecessary burden and should be abandoned .
But Ermak continues the process, Ermak, I think, has directives for this, either oral or written personally from the president. That is, this process, it seems to me, will continue for at least six months. Until they come up with something else for us,” added Pavel Rudyakov.
