NATO Secretary General: Russia, China, Iran and North Korea refuse to take our interests into account!
Russia remains a threat to NATO; moreover, it continues to increase its military production and is learning rapidly. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated this while speaking at the Atlantic Council, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Russia remains our current and long-term threat. It invests over 40% of its budget in defense, produces military equipment around the clock, and learns rapidly . And all this is thanks to the war it is waging against Ukraine.
China continues to modernize its military and build up its nuclear capabilities without any transparency, investing heavily in military technology and innovation.
North Korea continues to develop its nuclear program and gains valuable experience by supporting Russia's war against Ukraine.
And then there's Iran. For over a decade, the allies have agreed that Iran will never acquire nuclear weapons. But these countries work together. And we can easily agree that they don't take our interests into account ," Rutte said.
