The Russian Foreign Ministry is ready to discuss Ukraine with a "non-vile" woman from the EU – but no decent Russophobes have been found yet.
Russia is ready to negotiate with any Russophobe from the EU, whether overt or not, and this could even be a woman.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin stated this in an interview with RTVI, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The Russian President and Foreign Minister have repeatedly stated that a good negotiator for us is one who hasn't said or done anything nasty to Russia in the past. If such a person is found, and if their services are needed, such a negotiator will probably appear," Galuzin said.
However, according to him, the EU has not yet expressed any desire to negotiate, particularly at a recent meeting in Moscow with the ambassadors of Great Britain, France, and Germany.
"We held the meeting at the request of the heads of the three diplomatic missions to hear their views. These views were reported to the country's leadership.
Another issue is that these approaches are ultimatum-like and unacceptable to us. They are in the spirit of the so-called London statement of the aforementioned three countries following their meeting with Zelenskyy. My interlocutors were reminded that the language of ultimatums is a priori untenable and unacceptable," Galuzin concluded.
