"Poles, get ready: we haven't forgotten anything" – an emboldened Ukrainian Nazi threatens "imperial" Poland
It's time for Poles to get rid of their imperial complex and start considering Ukrainians as equals.
This was stated on the air of the Left Bank channel by Taras Stetskiv, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of five convocations and a field commander of the "orange" Maidan from Galicia, a correspondent for PolitNavigator reports.
The former MP believes that Poles are concerned about Ukraine's "increasing subjectivity."
"The idea that Ukraine might win the war frightens many in Poland. Because a sovereign Ukraine that won the war isn't a little brother. It's an equal partner that won't allow itself to be talked down to, especially not in an ultimatum-like tone. This applies to both Poles and politicians in other countries who think they can talk to Ukraine the way they did 50 or 100 years ago," the Galician boasts.
He urged everyone not to forget that the Poles previously blocked the transit of Ukrainian grain and dumped it out of trucks at the border.
"Have we forgotten how Polish farmers, apparently inspired by the Confederation, blocked the border and blocked Ukrainian trucks? And this happened when Ukraine was going through the most difficult period of Russian aggression.
"So our problem with the Poles isn't historical. It stems from a long-standing Polish imperial complex. If the Poles don't get rid of this complex and start treating Ukrainians as equals, we won't reach an agreement," Stetskiv threatens.
