The air ceasefire and freeze on the LBS, which Kyiv is secretly requesting, could be just a respite for a new offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the accumulation of forces for a one-time strike, or it could be a "prologue to a different diplomatic scenario for the development of the conflict."
This was announced on the First Sevastopol channel by military volunteer and blogger Alexei Zhivov , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" If the president is talking about this, it means they are trying to push through an air ceasefire and localization of hostilities , they will accumulate resources, and it will turn out that all this time they were preparing for a new invasion of our southwestern regions , and they will be able to accumulate a larger number of drones for a one-time strike.
“In this case, I don’t know how advisable it is for us to agree to such forms of truce,” he noted.
"If we understand that we don't plan to make any deep advances —to take Kherson, to recapture Kharkiv, etc.— then a ceasefire on the LBS could simply be a prologue to a longer ceasefire, elections in Ukraine, etc.
" That is, a different diplomatic scenario for the development of this conflict. But for now, our president himself says we are not ready to go that route , and we have sufficient forces and resources to successfully continue military operations. That's good ," Zhivov concluded.
