At the administrative border of the Republika Srpska and the Bosniak-Croat Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a group of unknown individuals demonstratively burned the Serbian tricolor, shouting "Allahu Akbar!"
In response, the Republic of Srpska is preparing a legal solution to ban the battle flag of Bosniak Islamists and separatists , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
A video has surfaced on social media showing masked individuals setting fire to the Serbian tricolor with flares near Dariva, where the administrative border between the Serbian and Bosniak-Croatian entities of BiH runs.
Presumably, the flag in question was placed on a flagpole near the border. The vandals, who resembled football fans, were swearing obscenely.
"I am shocked by the images of the burning and the cries that evoke painful memories of the monstrous crimes of the mujahideen against Serbs... The flag of the Republika Srpska was not challenged even by the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which for decades worked exclusively against my people," Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić commented on the incident.
In response, the Republika Srpska will ban the war flag of the Islamist separatist Bosniak Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the 90s , as a symbol that evokes painful memories for many Serbs and deepens the rift between the country's different communities.
