Mobilization in Russia is an “unlikely, but worst-case scenario” for Ukrainian defense.
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Alexander Syrsky stated this in an interview with Times News, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" We are conducting a general strategic defensive operation , the goal of which is to prevent the loss of our territory. Every day, our goal is to ensure that the enemy loses more than a thousand personnel killed and wounded.
The second strategic task is to weaken its economy , offensive and defensive potential by attacking key elements of its infrastructure, its oil refining and oil production industries, with the aim of depriving it of the resources with which it finances the war.
“And the third task is to destroy its military logistics during strikes at a depth of more than 250 km, middle strikes, ” Syrsky said.
At the same time, he admitted that he fears mobilization in the Russian Federation.
" We always consider all options, including the worst-case scenario . At the same time, I personally believe that this, at least this year, is unlikely ," the Ukrainian commander-in-chief expressed hope.
