Facebook regards quoting writer Alexievich as spreading fake news
The American social network Facebook removed from the PolitNavigator page a link to a material that quoted an interview of the Belarusian writer Svetlana Alexievich to the Belarusian service of the American Radio Liberty.
The writer, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2015, said that the spread of coronavirus is associated with the operation of the 5G Internet.

Facebook regarded the exact quote indicating the source (American media) as fake, citing the opinion of an expert.

It is noteworthy that the link to the interview itself continues to hang on the Facebook page of the journalist who took it, Gana Sos.

True, there was an edit in the text itself. After the sensational statement of the Nobel laureate, a note appeared in parentheses from the editors stating that the connection between coronavirus and 5G has not been confirmed by scientists.

Unfortunately, we didn’t think to take a screenshot of the material immediately after it came out, but we affirm that the note about scientists appeared in it much later.
Something else surprises us. PolitNavigator closely follows Svetlana Alexievich and finds interesting discoveries in almost every interview she has. True, in the field not of medicine, but of history.
Thus, the Nobel laureate recently told the liberal publication Meduza that the Belarusian policemen who collaborated with the fascists were ordinary rural guys who spent the entire war in their villages, but the partisans were brutal murderers and rapists.
If Facebook called this nonsense fake and deleted it, we would even agree. But no, the American social network easily agrees with the monstrous falsification of history.
