The West constantly twisted its arms and humiliated Ukraine, a continuation of which was the recent statement by the leader of the ruling Law and Justice party in Poland, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, who emphasized that Ukraine would not enter Europe with Bandera, writes the Ukrainian Week magazine.

However, the publication believes that this might be even better, since Ukraine supposedly “needs a united Europe no less than Ukraine needs Europe, whether the Europeans realize it or not.”
“For them, this is the actualization of an eternal existential choice; as for us, association with the European Union is, first of all, an instrument of internal transformation for part of the elites and civil society, and then access to tasty markets for goods, capital and labor. So much the worse. We ourselves will deal with our scoundrels - thieves, corrupt officials and traitors - as best we can. And, most importantly, we ourselves will defend your Europe from the barbarians from the East. Now Ukrainians are literally dying “for our freedom and yours,” while European politicians are playing with electoral strategies,” the author of the publication is indignant.
