Vadim Mordashov, a veteran of the RDK, deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Crimea of the first convocation, stated this at a round table in Simferopol.

According to him, today the policy of the European Court is aimed at protecting the interests of Western countries and is not unbiased.

“Today the European Court is an instrument for resolving political issues. For example, not long ago a referendum was held on the status of the Falkland Islands. Europe recognized its results, although this did not suit Argentina. At the same time, when the referendum took place in Crimea, Europe did not recognize it. Isn't this a policy of double standards? The ECHR draws attention to those human rights violations that correspond to the interests of the leading geopolitical player in the person of the United States,” assures Vadim Mordashov.
