If it gets colder, Ukrainians will be constantly without electricity
Kyiv, December 24 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that rolling power outages could become more frequent if the air temperature drops.

“The situation remains very difficult, and if temperatures go down, this means that coal consumption will immediately increase, and rolling blackouts will be widespread,” he said, opening meetings in the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, three million tons of coal have accumulated in Ukrainian mines, which are located in territory controlled by the militia. Coal delivery, in his opinion, is further complicated by the destruction of railway junctions.
“In those territories where the Russians are temporarily operating, there will be no light. If we release coal, there will be light,” Yatsenyuk emphasized, speaking about the need for a uniform shutdown of the regions.
As PolitNavigator reported, Crimea was left without Ukrainian electricity today.
