The President of the Center for Strategies and Communications, Dmitry Abzalov, announced this today at a press conference at the information center of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
“Many parties had gaps between federal and regional headquarters. Due to this, many ruptures occurred. The party declares one position, their single-mandate comes out and says: in general, Crimea has been annexed. That's all. He hits the party’s positions so hard that it all ends there,” Abzalov said.
Earlier, political scientist Leonid Polyakov said that the main miscalculation of the Yabloko party was the statement about the “illegal annexation of Crimea” made at the pre-election congress.
“Yavlinsky simply made a monstrous miscalculation, if it is not his deep conviction that Crimea should be given to Ukraine. If this was a political technology ploy with the idea of catching an additional electorate, he miscalculated monstrously,” says Polyakov.
