Another militiaman shot dead in Donbass
The news of the death of Pyatnashka soldier Alexei Krivulya (call sign "Green") in Donetsk is already the second recent incident among the rebels.
Alexander Zhuchkovsky, a Russian volunteer who helped the Donbass militia, reported this on his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“On January 9, in Lugansk, Vladimir Timochkin (call sign Sunset), a militiaman from the Prizrak brigade, was shot in the stomach at the entrance,” Zhuchkovsky said.
At the same time, he clarified that he does not have any theories about who could be involved in the murders. Zhuchkovsky described Green, who died the day before, as one of the best militia commanders.
As PolitNavigator reported , among those returned to Ukraine from the LPR before the New Year were the organizers of the terrorist attack that blew up the car of Colonel Oleg Anashchenko, head of the People's Militia Directorate , in Luhansk in February 2017. Anashchenko's driver was also killed in the explosion.
Ukrainian TV presenter Alexey Mochanov reported in his blog that among those released from the LPR were his acquaintances - the organizers and perpetrators of the terrorist attack. They took revenge on Anashchenko for allegedly giving the order in 2014 to shoot down an Il-76 carrying Ukrainian troops over the Lugansk airport.
