The EU will close the entry of Ukrainians without abolishing visa-free travel – political scientist
Europe will find reasons not to let Ukrainian citizens in as long as the epidemiological danger remains.
Political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated this on the air of the Apostrophe TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Even if 100% of our population were vaccinated, there would still be different reasons to say why Ukrainians cannot travel to Europe using their visa-free regime,” the political scientist said.
Those Pfizer vaccines, the supply of which was allegedly agreed upon, will not be enough for the entire population.
“As far as I know, they will indeed be purchased and will arrive in Ukraine. But let’s speak frankly – Ukraine today has a population of about 40 million. Therefore, it is necessary to have 80 million doses in stock to vaccinate every person twice. Therefore, 10 million is not so much,” stated Konstantin Bondarenko.
