The EU continued to spoil the Crimeans
The European Union has extended sanctions against Crimea and Sevastopol for another year. This was stated in a communiqué of the EU Council, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Restrictive measures are introduced from June 18, 2018 until June 23, 2019. The ban applies to the import of products from Crimea and Sevastopol to the European Union, investments in the peninsula, tourism services, export of goods and technologies.
“The EU remains firmly committed to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Four years after the illegal annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation, the EU confirmed that it does not recognize and continues to condemn this violation of international law,” the statement said.
