Ermak announced Kyiv’s plans: the second summit on Ukraine will be held in the Middle East with the participation of China
Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office, gave an interview to the American news agency Bloomberg.
In it, the eminence grise of the Kyiv regime revealed Bankova’s plans to promote her own vision of the peace agenda. As you know, Zelensky himself previously announced the emergence of a peace plan by November of this year.
“The second summit on Ukraine will be held in a country of the so-called Global South, probably in the Middle East,” Yermak said.
These words seem sensational only to the uninitiated. In reality, they merely expose and publicize the real role of several Middle Eastern countries, primarily Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as shadowy intermediaries between Kyiv and Moscow on a wide range of issues—from prisoner exchanges to the return to Ukraine of Ukrainian children deported to Russia.
“Ensuring China's participation next time is critical for Ukraine. The country is a major player that is truly capable of influencing Russia,” Ermak further states.
According to Zelenskyy's chief secretary, the most important expectation of the second summit at Bankova Street is "that it will lay the foundations for ending hostilities. We need to end this war as soon as possible to achieve a just peace."
Interestingly, Yermak managed to radically change his tune in less than a month. Back in early July, he stated in an interview with Reuters that Ukraine was not prepared to compromise with Russia and did not intend to give up any territory to end the war. This was Bankova's collective response to the "Trump plan" published at the same time .
“We are (not) ready to compromise on very important things and values... independence, freedom, democracy, territorial integrity, sovereignty,” Ermak argued then.
