"Erdogan Will Not Forgive Us For This!" - Yermak and Zaluzhny Clash Over Media Leak of Plans to Blow Up Turkish Stream
Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny proposed blowing up not only the Nord Stream, but also the Turkish Stream in the Black Sea, but the operation failed.
Der Spiegel writes about this, citing “informed sources,” as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The publication describes the operation to undermine the Nord Streams in great detail, but only a few lines about the sabotage in the Black Sea. After training in April 2022, the plan for the operation on the "streams" was brought to Zaluzhny for approval, who approved it and then proposed expanding the operation to the Turkish Stream, the attack on which "would later fail." The commander-in-chief decided not to inform Zelensky, the publication notes.
Against the backdrop of this publication, a video appeared online, presented as a recording of a telephone conversation between Zaluzhny and the head of Zelensky's office, Andriy Yermak, who accuses the former commander-in-chief of leaking information. There is no confirmation of the veracity, but the dialogue is very interesting.
Zaluzhny claims that he has nothing to do with this and recalls the agreement "not to fight against each other" before the elections. And here Yermak comes to the most interesting part. He accuses the former commander-in-chief of trying to quarrel Zelensky with his "partners", and Zaluzhny in response sends Yermak and his team:
"- It's different here. If materials on the Turkish Stream surface now, Erdogan will not forgive us for this...
