The main priorities of the state budget for 2017 are servicing the public debt and the pension fund - two big “holes” in the budget.

Oleg Ustenko, executive director of the Blazer Foundation, stated this on air on the Rada TV channel.
“The main priority in this budget is not defense or security agencies. The priority is to pay off the colossal “hole” of debts, plus the pension fund, which has also formed a colossal hole that must be constantly paid off. Its deficit is almost UAH 240 billion, which is equivalent to 9-10% of GDP. The second priority is debt servicing and the third is defense and security agencies,” he said.
