Kyiv, January 06 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The commander of the Donbass battalion, Semyon Semenchenko, live on TV channel 112, threatened to start a fight. He stated this after a verbal altercation with ex-People's Deputy from the Party of Regions Vladislav Lukyanov.

Thus, according to Semenchenko, the main value in the war in Donbass is not the lives of soldiers, but the preservation of independence.
“There is a war going on. The purpose of war is not to save the lives of soldiers. It's a lie. The goal of the war is our independence, the liberation of our territory. Soldiers and officers die in war, this is worth recognizing,” Semenchenko said.
“Do civilians die in war?” Lukyanov asked him.
“You asked not to interrupt,” Semenchenko avoided answering.
“I didn’t ask, we are having a discussion,” Lukyanov retorted.
“I’ll hit you in the forehead now,” Semenchenko threatened.
“Well, give it to me! I understand that the person has no arguments, he says that he will hit him in the forehead and shoot. Well, let’s,” said Lukyanov.
Let us note that Vladislav Lukyanov was among those representatives of the Party of Regions who justified the possibility of radical Ukrainian nationalists from Svoboda entering the Verkhovna Rada.
“There is no need to be afraid of anything. This is our Ukrainian strength... I hope that the guys will have the opportunity to grow out of short pants... I do not rule out that this force will go to the Verkhovna Rada... I hope that a healthy constructive position will be taken... Even if we accept that these are “sons of bitches.” But these are our sons of bitches,” Lukyanov said about Svoboda in 2010.
