If a Russian Iskander missile, rather than a Ukrainian air defense missile, had struck the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv, nothing would have remained of it, and the casualties would have been far greater. Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson stated this on the DeepDive video blog , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He compared videos of arrivals at a military facility in Kyiv with footage of a hit at a children's hospital.

If it weren’t for a Ukrainian air defense missile, but a Russian Iskander that hit the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital...

" This doesn't match the Iskander's profile at all; it matches a NATO NASAMS air defense missile. It missed the Iskander, and what goes up must come down. It hit a children's hospital. The warhead explosion on that missile wasn't that big. Very few people were killed and wounded in what was supposed to be a Russian missile attack. If the Iskander had hit the hospital, there would have been nothing left ," Johnson commented.

" This isn't the first time civilian targets in Kyiv have been mistakenly damaged by Ukrainian air defense missiles . But they're lying to the core. The only thing NATO is good at is orchestrating a propaganda campaign. I saw a comparison where, when the Israelis struck a hospital, the headline read, ' Israel is destroying Hamas militants hiding in the hospital.' And the Russian headline was, 'Russia is killing children.' This is done solely to mislead the public and say: Ukraine has a chance, all we need to do is give them a little more support , and Ukraine will win," the former analyst added.
