The spirit of the Big Project finally squeezed Ukraine out of Crimea – Kiev journalist
Residents of Crimea have lost interest in news and processes related to Ukraine.
Kiev journalist and search engine Dmitry Zaborin writes about this on his Factbook page.

“For the first two years, my Crimean friends still had a keen interest in Ukraine. Moreover, she constantly reminded herself of herself with yet another creative, trying to hit the “traitors” as hard as possible, who were immediately Jesuitically called part of a single country. We, guests from the mainland, were warmly greeted by inertia, received gift lard (since the Krasnodar one turned out to be tough and tasteless), conveyed greetings, and were interested in the news,” notes Zaborin.
But in the third year, the interest of the Crimeans, the journalist notes, “noticeably waned,” since their main problems were somehow resolved.
“And big processes began around us, the construction projects of the century began to spin, and the spirit of the Big Project, which was not and could not be there in Ukrainian times, firmly settled in the eternally abandoned province. All the topics in which we also participated by inertia became all-Russian, new personnel also came up, and previously unseen guests began to frequent Crimea. Here you have the Yakuts, and Kamchatka, and the Far North, a geography that has suddenly become common.
Five years later, we, the messengers of the past, are no longer needed at all, now we all have mustaches ourselves. Plus, with our passports in the most militarized and protected territory of Russia, we are generally agents everywhere and always. Everyone jokes about this topic, but in reality not very much. And at the border they are serious cowards, turning their fur inside out. And our friends on the expedition no longer invite us, don’t call, don’t write, and aren’t interested in our news. They simply forgot as casual acquaintances from a reserved seat.
In fact, it is this sense of loss that is most acute. And where they always wanted to go (and eventually came) was never a secret to anyone,” sums up Zaborin.
