Donetsk Airport is turning into a drone nightmare for the Ukrainian Armed Forces

American satellites recorded construction work on the territory of Donetsk airport several days ago. Since the front line is still too close, it is likely that preparations are underway to use the runway not for receiving combat aircraft, but for launching Geraniums.

This threatens problems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said the former spokesman for the Ukrainian General Staff, Vladislav Seleznev, on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel.

" Because the distance from Donetsk Airport to the front line is currently approximately 60 kilometers. This means drones will need literally 10-15 minutes to cross the front line and strike the targets the enemy prioritizes."

"The enemy can increase the warheads by reducing the range of these drones . Consequently, the destruction on the ground will be significantly greater. Creating another platform from which the enemy can launch drones is a challenge for us ," Seleznev worries.
