The share of conscientious objectors in the Armed Forces of Ukraine reaches 70% - Arestovich
One of the main problems of the Ukrainian army is the large number of refuseniks. Being forcibly conscripted into the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the soldiers do not understand why they are fighting and refuse to follow orders.
Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovych stated this on the air of the Alpha and Omega video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Arestovich, the share of refuseniks in the Ukrainian army reaches 70%.
“If you want to speak at the brigade/battalion level, then I will also say that there are a lot of problems there, a huge amount of problems. The first problem is refuseniks, there are from 30 to 70% in different departments. Secondly, people do not understand why they are fighting and do not want to fight in such conditions.
This is the same problem of mobilization, only for those who have been mobilized, with a machine gun and at the front, they don’t really want to. There is still no human-centric attitude towards people; the army is not human-centric. In general, a soldier is a thing in war that can be used as you wish, and everyone knows this,” Arestovich noted.
