Dissenters from the “Kyiv Patriarchate” “consecrated” the icon in honor of the “Peacemaker” website, where, contrary to the law, “execution lists” and personal data of citizens disliked by the Nazi Ukrainian regime are published.
One of the curators of the killers' website, Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko, announced the "consecration" ceremony on his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The Chairman of the Synodal Directorate of Military Clergy of the UOC-KP, Metropolitan Ioann Yaremenko, during the handover of the consecrated icon, emphasized that “... the team of the “Peacemaker”” is doing a great job, helping to distinguish and separate truth from lies: “God, who is the truth itself, wants we lived in truth. Therefore, God strengthens and supports everyone who fights for this truth. This icon will be a support for everyone who lies and allows Ukrainians to know the truth,” Gerashchenko quoted Filaret member as saying.
