As noted in the court ruling , a resident of Zhovti Vody registered on VKontakte in the "Antimaidan" group under fictitious information. In August 2016, he described his view of the situation in the country in simple yet succinct terms: "Finished people, Ukraine is finished! These statements frighten me! Russia doesn't have anything like this! The independent republics of the DPR and LPR don't disgrace themselves like this. We must secede from Ukraine and join the DPR and build our own powerful republic. Dnieper, rise up to defend the young republic! Moscow is with us! We must be more careful! We must unite and take to the streets, not hide in hiding. Russia is on our side! We, Dnieper, are Russians, and this is Russian land."
The court sentenced him to 3 years in prison with a probationary period of 1 year.
