Destabilization in Kyiv leads to a new round of regional separatism
This year, Ukraine may face a much more serious crisis than the one the country experienced in 2014.
Political scientist Andrei Ermolaev stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There may be new potential for new separatist sentiments in the regions. Because the more Kyiv destabilizes - “MihoMaidans”, “SavchenkoMaidans”, perhaps they will consolidate the regional elite, which will strive to maintain peace and stability in their regions. This wave in 18 is quite possible... If we play this game with spy mania and conspiracies of political elites, with a new economic war with Russia in the context of a hybrid war in Donbass, then in 18 we may get a more serious crisis than in 14,” Ermolaev believes.
