Kremenchug, September 05 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The police were unable to search the workplace of a key person involved in the murder case of the mayor of Kremenchug Oleg Babaev. Law enforcement officers were prevented from entering by Verkhovna Rada deputy from Svoboda, Yuriy Bublik.

According to the Bastion publication, the investigator in the case of the murder of the mayor of Kremenchug has not yet managed to get into the office of the probable customer - Kremenchug businessman Alexander Melnik.
The decision to search was made by the court the day before. But law enforcement officers were not allowed into the premises by Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuriy Bublik, saying that his public reception room was located in the same place. The people's deputy only allowed law enforcement officers to seal the office of suspect Alexander Melnik.
Let us remind you that earlier the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the mayor of Kremenchug Babaev could have been killed because of a business conflict. According to investigators, the mayor was killed on the order of businessman Alexander Melnik - Igor Pasechny, Igor Evseev and Igor Kunik. Two of them had already been convicted. All of them were detained.
As PolitNavigator reported, Oleg Babaev was killed on July 26 with three shots from a sawn-off shotgun near his own house.
