Kyiv, March 11 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The notorious Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Gerashchenko lost an argument on TV with ex-“regionalist” Tatyana Bakhteeva. After the Maidan activist ran out of arguments, he threatened to send his opponent to jail.

First, the dispute turned to a new IMF loan.
“The Ukrainian people will give 17,5 billion dollars. Those who were poor become beggars,” Bekhteeva began.
But Gerashchenko did not let her finish: “Tatyana, you voted to accept Putin’s handout in the amount of three billion dollars in 2013. And after that you will talk here about demagoguery.”
To which Bakhteeva tried to object that at that time the Ukrainian currency stood at a stable level of 8 UAH per dollar: “That has already passed. Today is a new time. Today a dollar costs 30 hryvnia, but then it cost eight. What have you done to the country in a year?” – said the “regional student”.
“The fact that you, so to speak, have not yet come to the attention of law enforcement agencies is not your merit, but their shortcoming,” Gerashchenko responded by turning to threats.
