Kharkov, June 21 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Kharkov prosecutor’s office released from house arrest doctor Olga Vorzheinova, who is accused of attacking a Maidan activist on April 13 during mass protests.

“The indictment was signed and transferred to the Leninsky District Court of Kharkov. A preliminary hearing in the case must be scheduled within 10 days,” the press service of the Kharkov prosecutor’s office reported.
They also clarified that the woman was not extended the preventive measure in the form of house arrest, which expired on June 16.
Because for two months the suspect did not try to interfere with the investigation and adhered to the conditions of house arrest.
In addition, mitigating circumstances were taken into account - a disabled child and an elderly mother.
As Navigator reported, on April 13, a fight broke out in Kharkov between Maidan and Anti-Maidan supporters, when the former were finishing their rally. One of the women attacked a Maidan activist who had already been beaten. In a video posted on the Internet, social network users recognized Olga Vorzheinova, a doctor from Chuguev (Kharkiv region). She was declared suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 296 (hooliganism committed by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code.
